  • Bunnings Nunawadding BBQ - Saturday 24th February - Come down for a great sausage and grab all your hardware!
  • Australian Lions Awarenes Day - Saturday March 3rd at tunstall Square - A Child friendly event showcasing what we do for out local community
  • Eye and Ear Examination Day - Saturday 17th March at Donburn Primary School
  • Easter Plant Sale - Saturday 7th April at St Davids Cricket Club Car PArk - come and grab a horticultural bargain!
  • Donvale Lions Club Trivia nights - During May and November, a great opportunity to have some fun and get to know your local Lions Club members
  • Coins For Kids - During June well be raising money to support this fantastic charity
  • Spring Plant Sale - Saturday 15th September, a great time to work out your plantings for this summer
  • Christmas gift wrapping - at the Pnes Shopping centre just before Christmas - gold coin donations gratiously accepted for each gift.

News and Events for 2017

  • Thanks to all the people who supported the Donvale Lions Club Plant Sale on Saturday the 9th of Sept - it was a great success! Also a big thanks to the Donvale Lions who gave up their time to make it happen.
  • Eye and Ear examination day in aid of early detection of hearing and visual problems in children aged from around 3 years up to 6 years. Examinations were conducted by specialists and students of Audiology and Opthamology from Melbourne University and held at Donburn Primary school in Colchester Dr, Doncaster East.
  • Mothers Day Plant Sale' held at St Davids Cricket Club oval, Mitcham Rd, Donvale. The sale was a great success and we look forward to our next sale in Spring - Watch this space for dates!
  • Bunnings Nunawading on Saturday the 11th of June. The day was a roaring success (excuse the pun) with a signifanct amount of money raised for our various charities. A special thanks to Nunawading Bunnings and also all the dedicated Donvale Lions Club members who helped make the day a success.
  • Coins for Kids was on Thursday the 15th of June at Bulleen Plaza - A great day was had by all those who attaneded. We helped to make a difference for childhood cancer.research. Thanks to the students of Bullen Heights School!
  • Spring Plant Sale - Saturday the 8th of September at St Davids Cricket Club car park. Come down and grab a bargain to help make your garden even more beautiful!
  • Donvale Lions Club Trivia Night - Christmas Special. Get in touch to book your place at what is always a fun night of trivia, friendship and drinks!
  • Sausage Sizzle Saturday: Every Saturday at Tunstall Square - Come down for a snag and a chat!

News and Events for 2016

  • Lions Licola Wilderness Village sponsorships - 6 disadvantaged children helped
  • Coins for Kids at Bulleen Plaza on Friday the 29th of April was a great success
  • Bulleen Heights School - Equipment Donation, May 2016 was another great win for our community
  • Club visit to Doncaster playhouse to see 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' May 7th, all enjoyed greatly and looking forward to more theatre soon.
  • Our Wine and Cheese tasting afternoon held on Sat Aug 20th at Box Hill Lions Club was a great success. Thanks to those that attended making it a lovely afternoon. 
  • We held a Plant Sale on Sat 3rd Sept at St Davids Cricket Club and had a great day. Thankfully the weather held out and we managed to sell a significant number of beautiful plants. Thanks to John, our supplier for the great stock and all those who ran and partook in the event, it too was a magnificent success.
  • Thanks once again to Julie Hoskin for allowing us to carry out the hearing & eye screening at your school, Donburn Primary School on Saturday the 10th of September 2016. It was a very successful day. A significant number of Eye and Ear defects were identified for further investigation - Early detection of these issues is critical.
